Graduates earn 468 degrees, certificates from Gordon College


About 29.7 percent of the 468 degrees and certificates handed out by Gordon College in 2017-18 were to students in education programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Wenham conferred 85 master's degrees and 45 bachelor's degrees in education programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. Data shows the school gave out 69 master's degrees in curriculum and instruction, followed by 42 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management and 25 bachelor's degrees in general English language and literature.

The college enrolled 1,963 students for 2017-18, including 1,591 in undergraduate programs and 372 in graduate programs.
