About 20.4 percent of the 396 degrees and certificates handed out by Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Adams conferred 65 bachelor's degrees and 16 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 65 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 58 bachelor's degrees in "other" multi-/interdisciplinary studies and 55 bachelor's degrees in general English language and literature.
The college enrolled 1,588 students for 2017-18, including 1,407 in undergraduate programs and 181 in graduate programs.
