Graduates earn 1,496 degrees, certificates from Bunker Hill Community College


About 20.9 percent of the 1,496 degrees and certificates handed out by Bunker Hill Community College in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Boston conferred 158 certificates and 155 associate's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in general studies. Data shows the school gave out 222 associate's degrees in general studies, followed by 135 associate's degrees in general business administration and management and 80 associate's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse.

The college enrolled 11,881 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
