Graduates earn 765 degrees, certificates from Regis College


About 75.4 percent of the 765 degrees and certificates handed out by Regis College in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Weston conferred 273 bachelor's degrees and 166 master's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in registered nursing/registered nurse. Data shows the school gave out 235 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse, followed by 132 master's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse and 97 associate's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse.

The college enrolled 2,166 students for 2017-18, including 1,250 in undergraduate programs and 916 in graduate programs.
