Graduates earn 829 degrees, certificates from Curry College


About 39.2 percent of the 829 degrees and certificates handed out by Curry College in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Milton conferred 315 bachelor's degrees and 10 master's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in registered nursing/registered nurse. Data shows the school gave out 274 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse, followed by 98 bachelor's degrees in criminal justice/safety studies and 89 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management.

The college enrolled 2,799 students for 2017-18, including 2,565 in undergraduate programs and 234 in graduate programs.
