Graduates earn 418 degrees, certificates from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary


About 89 percent of the 418 degrees and certificates handed out by Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 2017-18 were to students in theology and religious vocations programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Hamilton conferred 297 master's degrees and 56 doctor's degrees in theology and religious vocations programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in divinity/ministry. Data shows the school gave out 108 master's degrees in divinity/ministry, followed by 70 master's degrees in "other" theological and ministerial studies and 56 doctor's degrees in "other" theological and ministerial studies.

The seminary enrolled 1,734 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in 1734 programs.
