89 percent of applicants to Gordon College were admitted for fall 2017


At Gordon College, 98 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 63 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Wenham enrolled 1,963 students in fall 2017, including 1,591 in undergraduate and 372 in graduate programs, data shows. 2.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

29 percent of undergraduates are residents of Massachusetts, and 62 percent are residents of other states. 6 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (68 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (8 percent).

The school admitted 89 percent of the 2,924 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 16 percent enrolled.
